History of the Senior Citizens Club

The club was started in 1974. The purpose of the club was to promote mental alertness and provide opportunities for fellowship, goodwill, entertainment and social and spiritual well-being, so essential to all persons of mature age.

The Voorhees Senior Citizen Club has given emotional support and a renewed interest in life to those who may not have family close by and otherwise be socially isolated. Throughout the year, members enjoy trips to casinos and shows, as well as two yearly banquets.
Club Meetings & Socials

Meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Lions Lake Park Banquet Facility located at 101 Dutchtown Road in Voorhees.

Socials are held every Tuesday from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
