The key to a vibrant business community is not only to generate new businesses, but to help existing businesses thrive.

If you own a small or home based business in Voorhees, the Township Business Development Committee invites you to an evening of networking and learning. Join Township Officials, members of the Voorhees Business Association and members of the Business  Development Committee on Thursday, April 5, to network with other like-minded professionals in the area and learn about what Voorhees has to offer our small and home based business community and how we can better support this sector’s business growth. The event is being held at The Skate Zone on Laurel Oak Road from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be offered.

The mission of the Voorhees Business Development Committee is to create programs and undertake initiatives that assist new and existing business development in order to provide a stable tax base and to promote economic growth and quality of life.

To register for this free program, go to the Voorhees website, www.voorheesnj.com and click on the Voorhees Township calendar of events for April 5.

Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business and they create two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year. April 29 – May 5, 2018 is National Small Business Week.

Join us in celebrating our small and home based businesses.
