2020 Free rabies clinic and pet licensing deadlines

First, let me all say on behalf of the clerk’s office that we hope this note finds you and your family safe and healthy. We are all living in an unprecedented time and making adjustments in our lives that none of us could have anticipated just a couple of months ago. Please do your best to continue to maintain the CDC’s guidelines for social distancing and all other safety measures to keep you and your families safe and healthy.

With that being said, our annual rabies clinic is postponed. We will reschedule the clinic to a future date and you will receive ample notice of the new date. The May 11th deadline to renew your license is extended and a new date has yet to be determined. You will also receive ample notice of the new deadline. A late fee will NOT be assessed this year.

Voorhees Township Administrative offices are currently closed to the public until further notice, however limited staff is working. The clerk’s office is working and we are processing pet licenses. If you have not submitted payment and do not need to update your rabies information, you can either mail or leave in the drop box your payment. We will process the renewal and mail the license and any paperwork back to you. If you are going to have your pets rabies shot updated at your veterinarian’s office, please include the updated certificate with the payment.

We appreciate your patience in giving us a little extra time in the processing of your licenses as it is taking a little longer to complete all of our processes.

If you no longer have your pet, or have moved from Voorhees Township, please email clerk@voorheesnj.com or call 856-429-7757 so that we may update our records.

Thank you.
