The alert notification system Voorhees Township uses called NIXLE has recently made changes to their system. You are no longer able to receive alerts from Voorhees Township (not including the Police and Fite Departments) through text messages and can only obtain information through an email. Nixle defaults to email so if you would rather have the text message, please go to www.nixle.com. Once on the site click

•resident log in – upper right corner
•settings -upper right corner
•under the email column remove the blue checkmark next to Voorhees Township
•click save.

This will allow you to receive text messages. If you originally signed up for only email and would prefer text messages, please make sure to add your cell phone number. If you have any questions please contact the Voorhees Township Clerk’s Office at 856-429-7757.
