Annual Free Rabies Clinic, Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the Lion’s Lake Park Community Center, located at 101 Dutchtown Road Voorhees, NJ 08043. The rabies vaccination is free of charge. However, license fees are applicable. For neutered or spayed pets, the fee is $12.00, and for non-neutered or non-spayed pets, the fee is $15.00. Please note that we only accept cash or checks; no credit cards are accepted. To avoid any issues, please check the website beforehand for any necessary documents, which can be found at https://voorheesnj.com/departments/township-clerk/ or call the Township Clerk’s office at 856-429-7757.

Join the Voorhees Fire Department for the Annual Kirkwood Memorial Day Parade & Service being held on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The parade will lead off from the old Carriage House Restaurant, located at 1219 Kirkwood-Gibbsboro Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043. Our parade route will proceed down Gibbsboro Road and turn right onto Walnut Avenue, left on Second Avenue, right on Chestnut Avenue, and right on Burnt Mill Road, ending at the Veterans Memorial adjacent to the Kirkwood Fire Station. Following the parade, at 11:30 AM, there will be a wreath ceremony and memorial service. Special thanks to Terri and Vaughn Vandergrift for organizing this community tradition.
