
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is requesting public comment from July 27, 2025, to August 26, 2025, on its proposed plan to address contaminated groundwater at the Sherwin-Williams/Hilliards Creek Superfund site in Gibbsboro, Camden County, New Jersey.
The EPA will also be holding a public meeting on August 7, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gibbsboro Senior Center, 772 Pole Hill Park Drive, Gibbsboro, NJ 08026. The public meeting will include a presentation on the Superfund process, site history, and the proposed plan, as well as provide community members an opportunity to give public comment on the proposed plan.

The public is encouraged to review the plan, attend the public meeting, and comment on the cleanup options. The EPA will make a final decision after considering public comments.
