Public Service

Voorhees Township has provided services to our residents through our public service event outreach week in February and on individual service days throughout the year.

We offered a variety of important programs, including the annual rabies clinic, Real ID services from the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission, vehicle inspections by the NJ Motor Vehicle Inspection Unit, and tax assistance for seniors from the NJ Division of Taxation.

Additionally, we organized events that facilitated access to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), NJ Housing & Mortgage Finance, and Senior Citizens United Community Services (SCUCS), along with shredding services to enhance identity safety.

These initiatives made services more accessible for our community’s convenience. Residents received personal assistance through direct interactions with live representatives.

The following services were provided:

  • 437 NJMVC Real ID appointments
  • 144 NJMVC Vehicle Inspections
  • 62 NJ Division of Taxation Seniors Filings
  • 137 TSA Precheck Applications
  • 89 Rabies Vaccinations
  • 4415 lbs. of Shredding
  • NJ Housing & Mortgage Finance Programs
  • Senior Citizens United Community Services (SCUCS) Programs

These efforts made important services readily available right in our town, leading to agencies requesting a return in 2026. Follow our social media to take advantage of these services next year!
