NEW MATTRESS DISPOSAL REQUIREMENT – EFFECTIVE MAY 11, 2026
All mattresses and box springs must be fully sealed in sheet plastic or plastic mattress bag before being placed at the curb for bulk pickup.
- Prevents bed bugs & pests
- Keeps items within safe weight limits
- Reduces litter from damaged materials
Bag each item separately (mattress & box spring) and when possible, seal completely with heavy-duty tape
