New Jersey American Water wishes to inform residents that the contractor, CDM Smith, will begin door-to-door canvassing and service line material assessments for several weeks in Voorhees Township starting Monday, August 10, as part of the New Jersey American Water Lead Service Line Replacement Program. They aim to replace lead and galvanized service lines by 2031.

Authorized field staff will have official CDM Smith photo IDs and wear logoed, high-visibility vests. Staff will never request payment, fees, or financial information. All assessments are free to residents.
