Roads Improvements

Voorhees Township works hard to maintain and improve our 105 miles of local roads for the safety and convenience of our community.  We also have 18 miles of county roads maintained by Camden County.  Route 73 has 2.5 miles in Voorhees and is a state road.

We have a five-year road program to maintain all township roads. The following road improvements were either completed in 2022 or will be completed in the next few weeks:

Laurel Oak Road, Phase I (White Horse Road to Flyers Skate Zone), Peregrine Drive – Phase III at its two intersections with Willowbrook Way, Second Avenue, Battery Hill Drive – Phase II (William Feather Drive to Egret Road), Old Stevens Lane, Brambling Lane, Lennox Avenue, Hazel Avenue, Oriole Drive, Jefferson Avenue (561 to Third Avenue.)

The improvements of the following roads started in 2023 and are scheduled to be completed by this fall:

Laurel Oak Road – Phase II (Flyers Skate Zone to Haddonfield-Berlin Road (CR 561), Chippenham Drive – Phase II (Woodhurst Drive to Bradford Way), Brambling Lane, Covington Lane- Phase I (Kresson Road to Elliot Drive), Lennox Avenue, Ford Street (1/2 Width Paving, Other Half Paved by NJ American Water Co), Linden Avenue, Chestnut Avenue (South Second Street to Burnt Mill Road), Walnut Avenue (Gibbsboro Road to Burnt Mill Road), Second Street (White Horse Road to Poplar Avenue), Sequoia Court, Heron Court, Britton Court, Flamingo Court, Dale Drive (Evesham Road to #3 Dale Drive), South Terrace Boulevard (at intersection with Rt. 73.)

Drive safely!
