Winter Holiday Events


After a
n eventful summer with our traditional Summer Concert Series at Connolly Park and Live Jazz Music Nightin the Town Center in the Fall, Voorhees Township has planned many events to make the upcoming holiday season joyous.

On Friday, Nov. 24 at 7pm, we will have our Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Town Center.
 “Voorhees Got Talent” Finals kick off the above Tree Lighting Event at the Voorhees Town Center at 6:00pm.
From 6pm-8pm the same night, the Voorhees Art Commission will sponsor “Holiday Cards & Crafts.
We will continue our very popular holiday tradition of Santa Claus touring our town on a fire truck.  The planned dates are Dec. 1, 2, 8, 9. We will provide specifics about when and where Santa will be visiting as the dates get closer. Thanks to our VTFD for sponsoring this special Santa on a Fire Trucktour.
On Saturday, Dec. 16 from noon to 4pm, the Voorhees Township Fire Department will host “Cookies with Santa” at the Burnt Mill Fire Station.  Bring your camera to take pictures with Santa, see the fire truck displays, enjoy holiday music and more. This is a wonderful holiday tradition!

On Saturday, Dec. 16 from 12pm-4pm the Voorhees Art Commission invites all to join them to decorate cookies at “Cookies with Santa” at the Voorhees Fire Stationon Burnt Mill Road.

** The Voorhees Township Police Department is again accepting donations to the Voorhees Police Holiday Fund to brighten the lives of local families in need.  All requests from families should be received by Dec. 1.  Donations from local businesses and residents are welcome. ** The Voorhees Township Police Department and Camden County are hosting a Winter Coat Drive.  The goal is to collect new or gently used coats, hats and gloves for those less fortunate.  Drop off your donations at the Police Station Lobby.
